GCoE Talk

On the 18th April, 3:30pm, there will be a GCoE Talk by developers from HZDR to talk about their current work with GPU programming and applications in the fields of computed tomography and image reconstruction:

GPU-accelerated Cone Beam CT Reconstruction

One of the most significant constraints in 3D CT image reconstruction is
processing speed. In this talk, we present an approach to improve the
data processing time significantly by using GPUs. The strategy of
optimal data handling and memory usage is in the main focus.

The talk will take place as usual in TRE-101 VC, Zellescher Weg 16, TU Dresden.

After the talk we will discuss the implemented optimization strategies and possible synergy effects with other developer teams at the GCoE.

By the way, we always look for GPU related talks, so if you are interested to present your current work and to get feedback from others, just get in contact with us: gcoe@mailbox.tu-dresden.de
